The Advanced button in the Image Properties window displays the meta information hidden in the image files.  The types of information supported art the structures EXIF and IPTC.
 

EXIF is a manufacturer's standard for digital cameras used for entering (not accessible from a simple image editor) information in the file images.  The information written are the time, date, the flash configuration, time of exposure, the hyperfocal value, etc.  To this is added the manufacturer's name, model and much more technical information.  All this information is entered by the camera when the photograph is taken.

IPTC is a structure which is integrated in the image by photographers with the help of different programs.  Amateurs and professionnals can show the place, name of the author and a brief description of the image.  Much more information can also be written.

NOTE : not all file images contain the EXIF or IPTC information.  Album Burger Photograph supports the used formats in present day market.  The old image formats using EXIF and IPTC standard are not supported, as they are so rarely used.
